Randy Holland, Founder

Randy

  • 14 years of experience as a professional coach and leader.
  • MBA, Vanderbilt University

I have lead the development of our online products here since 1994. In recent years, I have been operating very much in the background as other good coaches in our midst have grown to carry the ball quite well on their own.

Back in the beginning, our company was referred to by the locals here in Nashville as "The Program". Our Boot program literally changed the local landscape as hundreds of people changed their weight, shape, and attitude toward food, exercise, and strength training. With that enthusiasm, we built a club, bought and sold two others, and acted as consultant to over 40 health clubs in two countries.

Building clubs and showing other companies how to better manage their personal training businesses are good activities but acclaimed author, Jim Collins says it best: "good is the enemy of great". Of the many "good" pursuits one can do, there is usually only one or two things one should do. For me, I am best used when I am helping others reinvent themselves with an enlightened understanding of personal fitness management. That's what I do well, it's what makes my life a transcendent experience.

Today I do it in two ways. One, as the lead-developer of our software tools I empower people like myself to lead others like you to the safety and surety of better fitness; and two, as a coach, right here on the front lines, I continue to fight the fight of getting folks to "let it in", change their perspective, renew their attitudes, one-on-one.

If you need fitness management in your life and find that you were not made for it, per se, stop punishing yourself and let me or one of my colleagues help.

If you think about it, change, real change, does not occur without a new perspective, a new mindset. Deltatrac is designed to de-mystify one of the most complex processes on the planet, human cellular respiration. You don't have to understand everything, just the big picture as it relates to you. With this knowledge and perspective, and with the overwhelming pleasure of a personal goal attained, you will never look at fitness the same.

Best,

- Randy

  • 9 years of experience as a professional coach and personal trainer.
  • 10 years of experience as a professional gymnastics instructor.
  • BA Degree from The University of Oklahoma, Public Administration

All my life I have been involved with sports, dance, and performing. It comes as no surprise that I should fall into the world of personal training and coaching. I am a former NCAA champion gymnast and have coached extensively in gymnastics for 10 years from Oklahoma to California.

I toured around the country for two years with the actor and comedian, Jerry Lewis, in the Broadway musical “Damn Yankees”. Then, while living in Los Angeles, I fell in love with training and coaching. A few years ago my family and I relocated to Nashville so I could coach at the Delta.

I had the opportunity to train at one of the premiere clubs in Los Angeles. But it didn't compare with what was happening at The Delta, This approach offers benefits and results to clients unlike anything I have seen at other clubs. A strategic plan! A road map, if you will, for clients to reach their targeted goals. Your targeted goals! All you have to do is work the program, be consistent, make the sacrifice, and have faith! And most importantly, in the words of Winston Churchill, “Never, never, never give up!”

Sincerely,

- Ricky

  • Post baccalaureate studies in Physical Ed./Exercise Physiology, Belmont University, Nashville, TN

I've had a life in fitness, movement, gymnastics, and dance and have over 20 years of running experience. Coaching high school and college women to avoid the Freshman 15 grew out of extensive research in eating disorders and disordered eating behaviors.

I'm a Lifeguard, water safety Instructor, physical education instructor, and I have coaching experience in soccer, gymnastics, and swimming. I studied ballet and modern dance at Texas Christian University and at Stephens Perry-Mansfield dance camp in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and have a Dance/theater BFA from Colorado Women's College. The early part of my career I was a professional dancer/actress in musical theater.

My goal for my clients has always been to give them confidence and joy in physical fitness, healthy eating and living. Sometimes we lose our way, but you can find your way back with our help. Maybe you've never been fit. If this is the case, there is hope. Do not be afraid and do not fail to grasp this opportunity. You've been given only one body to carry you through this life. Some parts are replaceable, but at a high cost, physically and financially. TODAY, not tomorrow, take control of your life and body. Get the leadership you need to help you succeed in achieving your fitness goals. Don't look back, take the steps to create the change you need and want. We will help you reach your goals!

  • 4 years of experience as a professional coach and personal trainer.
  • Played Junior College Basketball
  • BS degree from The University Of Massachusetts-Boston, Exercise Science

From the time I started playing basketball in middle school I have been interested in how the human body responds aesthetically and functionally to proper diet and exercise.

Fifteen years later, I now find myself managing other individuals' diet and exercise programs - programs that are specifically tailored for them, to their goals, and to their fitness level.

Most important, I love seeing the hard work of my clients shining through as they achieve their goals. There is nothing I won't do for my clients as long as they are consistently trying their best.

If you're motivated, me and Deltatrac is all you need!

Best,

- Domenic

  • 12 years of experience as a professional coach and personal trainer.
  • 5 years experience as a professional online coach.
  • BS degree from The University Of Tennessee, Exercise Science;
  • Head Coach, The Delta, Nashville, Tennessee.
  • Board licensed Massage Therapist.
  • 6 years of experience as a lead male dancer with the Memphis Ballet
  • Certified full body and long tract nerve entrapment ART therapist

i started my fitness life as the slow, overweight kid that was always picked last in schoolyard soccer games. Through the course of my middle school years, I worked my way up to at least being picked in the middle of the pack in those pick up games.  I applied myself as best as i could and by the time I graduated from high school I was a first degree black belt in Taekwondo and a 3 year letterman and 2 year captain of my high school soccer team as well as captain of my indoor and fall league soccer teams.

Through my youth and early adulthood, I danced for the Memphis Ballet. I obtained a degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology at UT and worked at exercise rehab clinics, hospitals PT departments, fancy gyms and not so fancy gyms, and nutrition centers. it never really occurred to me to get into helping people with exercise until i had looked back to see what i had been doing with my life for the past 5 years. that's when i decided to go into fitness coaching and i knew that i could utilize all the tools i had been crafting to make a difference. that was a little over 11 years ago that i made that decision and i have only looked forward ever since then.  in the mean time i competed at a national level in triathlon and duathlon, run quite a few marathons and road races, obtained a degree in therapeutic massage and bodywork and am trying to hone my craft in biomechanical soft tissue injury and prevention through advanced practice techniques that leads me all over the country working with different PT and physicians of MLB, NFL, NHL, and NBA teams.

As The Delta's Head Coach, I have the pleasure of leading about a dozen sports scientists and coaches in this mission to empower others with these skills. i ran some of the first BOOT coaching programs for many years guiding the everyday person into great success by helping them acquire skills in cardiovascular, nutritional and strength training. i started our company's first ventures into online coaching a little over 5 years ago and i can tell you that Delta Coaching has come a long way from those first programs that we were running mostly for triathletes and marathon runners. This newest program is very advanced indeed and will be a great tool for those who wish to embrace it.

Thank you.

- Joel

  • 11 years of experience as a professional coach and personal trainer.
  • BS degree from Southwest Baptist University, Psychology
  • Director, The Boot Program Deltatrac
  • Champion Bodybuilder
    • Mr. Missouri

I grew up in Missouri and attended Southwest Baptist University. He obtained a degree in Psychology(?) and began my career in healthcare as a mental health case worker in the private hospital industry.

In 1998 I met Deltatrac Founder, Randy Holland at a local gym. We were fast friends. Back then, we watched with amazement as he invoked his “You’ve got to face the music, and I can help you do it” approach to fitness-recovery. As a body builder I knew that courage was at the heart of personal renovation. Holland’s approach seemed to enable, even foster that courage. I got into mental health because I wanted my contribution to count. When I saw the Delta programs and their eventual fruit, I knew I could make a much more significant contribution here than in mental health. I never looked back and I haven’t been disappointed.

I am now the Director of the Boot program, our company's flagship fitness-recovery product. I have the pleasure of interacting with motivated, but frightened people who often underestimate the work that lies ahead. But once I enter their bloodstream things begin to progress. All of us here have been a part of incredible stories. Stories that would make you weep. Will you be next? Believe me when I tell you that You Can Do This. Thanks to Deltatrac, the brave folks who have come before you have made all our jobs easier. There is nothing we haven't seen, no body type we cannot manage.

I'm a lucky husband, a proud father, and a cherished son. My experience tells me that when I invest greatly, I benefit greatly. If you are looking for a rich, life-altering experience, and if you are capable allowing others to lead, plug in to Deltatrac.

Sincerely,

- John

Leslie Whitehead, CSCS

Leslie

  • 2 years of experience as a professional coach and personal trainer.
  • Division I Collegiate Soccer Athlete
  • BS degree from Murray State University, Exercise Science

As a division I college athlete, I can attest to the fact that adult life, life after athletics, is a challenge. It was so easy to maintain the physique I wanted when a coach was on me constantly. Body image was hardly even a thought. But now, now that life's realities have overcome what was an idealic time, I find that I must be very intentional about my workouts in order to maintain the body image I want. I would love to help you manage your fitness. Deltatrac's tools make it possible for every body type to gain the perspective needed to look one's best. Good luck. No work has a better pay-off than fitness!

Sincerely,

- Leslie
